Susan Forde Missing
The family of a Kerry lady who now resides in France is pleading for assistance in locating her because to growing concerns for her safety.
Susan Forde, who hails from Fossa in Kerry, is thought to be in the Montpellier area, but safety concerns have grown as a result of a recent lack of communication.
The native of Kerry, who moved to France in April, kept in touch with her relatives there on a regular basis.
But since Sunday, there has been no communication, raising worries for her safety.
The family has turned to social media to beg for assistance in finding Susan since they are desperate to find her.
The family wanted people to spread the post as much as possible, particularly with anyone residing in France, after widely disseminating Susan’s photo on social media.
They are interested in hearing from anyone who thinks they may have seen Susan over the previous week or anyone who remembers selling her a ticket for a flight, boat, train, or bus.
The picture of Susan has been released along with the statement, “Missing in France. Susan Forde, an Irishwoman. Do you remember Susan?
“Susan’s family fears for her safety and believes she is in France, possibly in the Montpellier area.
“You may recall running into her last week somewhere.
“Perhaps you sold her a ticket for a bus, rail, boat, or aeroplane.
Perhaps she was in your cab.
“Perhaps you remember her from a hospital stay.
“Perhaps you offered her coffee or saw her on a beach.”
As an occupational therapist, Susan founded Slan Stroke Rehab, a non-profit organisation, to assist stroke victims.
Paddy Maguire, a resident of Killarney who is involved in the appeal, stated that Sunday was the last day Susan was in communication with anyone.
We are worried about her welfare, he declared.
“As of now, there is no update.”
