Early Life
Munchetty was born and raised in the ares of South London, Streatham. Her father is from Maritius and her mother is from Tamil Nadu, India.
She did her early schooling in Graveney School in Tooting. She then attended the University of Leeds, where took the subjects of English Literature and Language.
Career
Munchetty started her career in journalism in Tv began as a reporter of Reuters’s Financial TV.
After that she worked as a senior producer fofr CNBC Europe and a presenter for Boomerang TV.
Since August 2010, Munchetty has presented early moring bulletins on the BBC news channel.
