Missing Virginia Father

According to family members, a “trail of blood” was discovered during the hunt for a 20-year-old dad who vanished in Virginia.

Jose Guerrero is thought to have vanished on December 21 after leaving his Woodbridge home “under questionable circumstances.”

He was supposed to take his girlfriend out on a date, but he never showed up.

Sheila Perez, his girlfriend, told WUSA that they planned to go ice skating and observe Christmas lights. “He promised to return immediately,” I said.

Guerrero was reported missing by Prince William County police two days later, and his automobile had been discovered abandoned. Perez informed WRC-TV that there was blood inside the automobile.

Guerrero’s family members followed his phone’s location to a park, where they reportedly saw “a trail of blood drips starting in the parking lot, into the woods,” Perez told the TV station.

Family members and police are still looking for leads more than a week after he vanished. Guerrero wouldn’t miss spending Christmas with his 10-month-old daughter, so relatives told WTTG they are unsure of who would want to harm him.

His mother, Andrea Salgado, wrote on Facebook that “Christmas was not Christmas without my son.”

Guerrero’s height and weight are given as 5 feet, 8 inches and about 110 pounds, respectively. He was “last seen wearing a blue sweater, pants, and black shoes,” according to the police, and had brown eyes and hair.
