Aamir Ali missing
Following a water search, the hunt for a Houston man who vanished while camping came to an end on Wednesday in the late afternoon.
Around 2:00 p.m., divers with the Blue Diver Search and Recovery Team discovered Aamir Ali’s body in Canyon Lake close to Potters Creek Park.
Around 9 o’clock on Friday, December 2, Ali was reported missing there.
Currently, it is unknown how Ali passed away.
Ali was camping with friends in San Antonio when he vanished, leaving his possessions behind, a family relative said ABC13.
Ali was a former University of Houston student who majored in marketing and last studied there in the spring of 2021.
Deputies from the Comal County Sheriff’s Office thoroughly searched the area on foot and with drones on Saturday, but they were unable to find Ali.
